Okay. Maybe not ALL of them...
But my current dream of picking up a mid sixties Continental once the DSM and two project bikes are gone from the garage has been destroyed.
How? You may ask.
I measured my "garage" and it is, well, inadequate. From the edge of the door to the edge of the workbench measures just over 18 feet, and the door needs room to close, which means I have a little over 17' to work with. The smallest of Continentals was 17'7", and that was for one year only. After that, they are all over 18'.
Guess it's time to sell the house!

A neighbor of mine has one of these and he has to park it outside the garage or have the tail end poking out on inclement weather days. He covers it up but still it looks silly.

In my parent's neighborhood was a man with a thing for old firetrucks. Fire engines are large, as to accommodate these beasts he had an additional 10' of garage built onto the front of his house. This might not be the worst way to go. Just build out from your existing garage XX amount of feet, close it in and voila, extra garage space.

My driveway is barely long enough to fit my Jeep... (the downsides of living in a city)

Ah, the benefit of living in the 'burbs. I've got a nice 50' driveway inside my gate and another 25' outside. Not bad.

Thought about something like that, but who knows.

The only reasonable solution. This.

My grandparents house has an extension on their garage kind of like this (but nicer) from when they bought an Eldorado in the 70s.

I've been *needing* a 4 or more car garage anyways...

Wish I could. I had a friend do this with his. Unfortunately, the back wall to my garage is a bedroom...

I am in a similar situation with a garage that measures 18' door to wall. I have a thing for big luxo-barges, and several interesting craigslist finds have been shot down once I googled their length.

Its terrible, isnt it

That makes it easier...just knock down the wall to the bedroom and have whoever is sleeping there move to the couch.
